Available as a two-door model or as a four-door model the 2024 Jeep Wrangler comes with an updated grille, 10 new well designs, a warning, and a full float rear axle.

Engine Options

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler comes with three engine options.

The 4xe model which has a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain uses a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and two electric motors one integrated with the transmission and another powering the rear axle. Its battery pack offers a driving range of up to 22 miles.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Interior

The 2024 Wrangler’s interior received an update but still maintains its traditional ruggedness. The front seats are slightly retooled but offer a good amount of legroom and headroom. The rear seats in the four-door Wrangler are also comfortable even for adults while the two-door Wrangler is a bit cramped and is best suited for children.

Lower trims still have many noticeable hard plastics while higher trims feel luxurious thanks to features such as Nappa leather upholstery and heated front seats.

The 2024 Wrangler also comes with a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen across all the trims. It runs the latest Uconnect 5 software, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a customizable home screen. The Uconnect 5 software was introduced in the Grand Wagoneer, then the Grand Cherokee, and now in the 2024 Wrangler.

The 2024 Wrangler maintains its original design but has been refreshed with minor changes. It now features a new grill design with a more blackout look and more opening between the traditional seven-slit grill. The front bumper has been updated and is now fitted with a warning which with an 8000-pound capacity.

Other changes in the 2024 Wrangler include; 10 new wheel designs, frame sliders, and an integrated wire antenna in the windshield.

The 2024 Wrangler comes with 10 color options: Bright White, Granite Crystal metallic, Anvil, Silver Zynith, Earl, Hydro Blue Pearl, Firecracker Red, High Velocity, and Sarge Green.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Cargo Capacity

The 2024 Wrangler offers 12.9 cubic feet behind the second row of the two-door model and up to 31.7 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down. The four-door Wrangler on the other hand has 31.7 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind its seating, or up to 72.4 cubic feet with rear seating folded. This is enough space to carry groceries and other items.

The two-door 2.0L turbocharged trims consume  20/21/21 mpg for the city/highway/combined according to EPA estimates while the four-door consumes 20 mpg for all three cycles.

Two doors with a 3.6L V6 engine consume 17/25/20 mpg whereas the four-door trims consume, 17/23/19 mpg.

The 4xe models which are electric have a 14.4-kWh lithium-ion battery which has a range of up to 22 miles. When on gas alone the 4xe consumes a combined 20 mpg while when the battery is fully charged it has a combined efficiency of 49 MPGe.

The 2024 Wrangler comes with three engine options, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine which is paired with either a manual or automatic transmission, this engine produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine gets you 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and up to 5,000 pounds of towing power while the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine generates 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

In terms of handling the 2024 Wrangler offers a good ride quality both on pavement and offroad. Its steering may feel a bit vague requiring constant adjustments. The brakes also work and offer enough stopping power but some drivers may feel they are not confidence-inspiring like other rivals.

Maintenance Schedule

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler should undergo a maintenance service after 7,500 miles. In this interval, you will need to change your engine oil as well as its filter. The tires should also be rotated and rebalanced.
